Just saw on the trade magazine Drapers that there’s going to be a new lingerie store on the High Street. Mmm. Recession anyone?

Here’s a little taster from Drapers:

The 1,200sq ft shop will be styled with art deco and 1960s-inspired furniture and will trade from two separate rooms, which will have a lounge and a library theme

It sounds more art installation than store. Its founder former model Kenya Cretegny says: “Apartment C is about hanging out in a cool apartment in your knickers, drinking gin out of a tea cup and reading Last Tango in Paris out loud. It’s a mix of decadence and retro chic. I want it be like a surprise”

Apparently its all vintage novels, lingerie and gin and tonics (also vintage) and staff who work there will be trained at a bra fitting college (I wasn’t even sure they existed…)

All sounds like fun for a visit but will anyone buy anything..?
